UTAU Commissions - Terms of Service

Please read this Terms of Service before requesting an UTAU commission from me. When you've read this, please go here to request a commission.

I charge $0.03 per line in the oto, no matter what type.
- Examples for various types of voicebanks:
  - CV Japanese: ~100 lines
  - CVVC Japanese: ~300 lines
  - VCV Japanese: ~1000 lines
  - VCCV English: ~3000 lines
- Please contact me for a more accurate estimate of your own voicebank.
Multiset discount - 15%
- If your bank is multipitch, or has multiple expressions in one, it's got multiple sets. You must use the exact same reclist for every set to get the discount (so multilingual doesn't count,). You can only use this discount if you pay for the entire voicebank all at once. Alternatively, you can pay for pitches one by one without the discount.

ASSSS discount - 10%
- This discount applies if you used a non-Japanese reclist from TUBS' Association for Speech and Singing Synthesis Scripts.

ARPAsing discount - Rounded down to nearest $10
- For example, a voicebank with 2,634 lines would only cost $50. If a voicebank has less than 1000 lines, the discount does not apply.
Return customer - 5%
- Please specify which voicebank you've commissioned from me before.
Multiple discounts may apply. ARPAsing discount comes first before other discounts.
You may remain in the queue indefinitely, and cancel at any time before you are reached. Once you reach the #1 position, you will have one week to respond before being automatically removed. Updates on the status of the queue will be sent directly.
The voicebank will be checked for errors to determine if any samples need to be rerecorded. If so, please provide fixed samples before your voicebank is reached in the queue. You can check on the progress by visiting the queue website. If you would like to stop partway through, you can either cancel the OTO entirely, or receive the partially completed section for the appropriate price.
Once the OTO is completed, an audio sample will be sent for verification. Payment is by PayPal invoice, which can be paid even without a PayPal account using a credit or debit card. Once payment is confirmed, the oto.ini files will be sent.

Payment for UST/VSQx/SVP commissions is calculated and taken up front before the commission is started.
The minimum price for each initial file is $5.
- One UST type - $5
- One VSQx - $5
- One SVP -$5
Prices for each additional file will be calculated at a 25% discount each and rounded up to the nearest dollar.
- Four UST types - $9
- UST/USTx/SVP/VSQx bundle - $14
Tuning fee - $2
Please link the song (original version and instrumental, if it exists) when requesting a UST/SVP/VSQx commission.
If there is no official instrumental, I will split it with UVR or FL Studio's stem separator.
If the UST is to be tested on a certain voicebank or reclist, please supply a working link to the voicebank. Otherwise, a random voicebank I have will be used. If you need me to also render WAV files, let me know before I send the completed package.
An audio demo of the UST/SVP/VSQx will be sent via email. When approved, the package will be sent.

This combines my art commissions and voicebank commissions.
One reference sheet, full body render, icon, and voicebank oto will be provided.
The price will be calculated from the voicebank oto price and a 25% discount price on the art assets, rounded up to the nearest dollar.
- Ex.: One pitch of CVVC Japanese + art assets = $40
Please link all references for the character design.
If there is no official instrumental, I will split it with UVR or FL Studio's stem separator.
The oto will be completed first and payment will be collected upon completion of the oto. Final files will not be sent until the art is completed and approved.

I will convert files to other formats. Base price $5, increases for each additional format at a 25% discount.
- Ex: SVP to VSQx = $5, CV Hiragana UST to CVVC = $5
If you would like a file converted that uses a custom/non-standard reclist, please link me a voicebank that will work with the reclist.
Payment for conversions are calculated and taken up front.
Please be sure you have appropriate permission to convert files.
Files will be sent upon completion of conversion.
